Parallel Doomensions - Eden's Shallow
Eden's Shallow was under the project Parallel Doomensions that had some speedbumps and rough spots throughout going on for a whopping 6 or so years. Eden's Shallow was under a bit of criticism for being too long, a critique I actually agreed with and worked with the leads to solve. It ultimately came down to the painful tasks of cutting a section I visually liked and worked hard on, and made it exclusive to deathmatch. I think I made a lot of good choices in being a callback to Dooms E1M8 to bridge the crossover gap this project was trying to accomplish while also hint at the upcoming runic levels ahead. I praise the managers of this project for pulling me back to reality and keeping this level on a consistent pace gameplay and thematically.
