Ad Mortem - Torture Garden

Torture Garden was made quickly for a project on Doom's /vr/ board. I always wanted to see this courtyard implemented in an interesting way. The main gimmick came from a short story called the 'Torture Garden' which is a masochistic tale of a garden fed by human suffering and blood. I used an engine trick to give a sort of "blood lock" that fed the garden and start the generators, kicking on the lights and opening doors. Due to the fast nature of this maps creation, there are things I would change. Still I was happy to contribute to a struggling project in time with an idea I may revisit later. I did make 2 revisions to fix the errors I saw when watching playthroughs. Ad Mortem was eventually given a runners-up Cacoward
